" As I nestled in for the evening with my tea close by and a crackling fire, I had to say goodbye to one of my simple pleasures in life that only happens once a year...Christmas ornaments! I love ornaments. In fact, whenever I travel, I make a point to pick-up an ornament at some great art gallery or gift shop so that I can have a "remember when" moment with my kids when...it's time to decorate the Christmas tree again. So, as I was opening up my handy "red for Christmas" garage bin and wrapping up ornaments the sun glistened through my glass doors and illuminated them. "Oh, ahh...glitter danced...and...Get the camera! Seize the moment!" My thoughts swirled and my little noggin reminded me of my New Year resolution: start a blog, open an +Etsy.com store, start a new +Facebook.com page filled with my artwork. "Alright, alright..." I retorted to my thinker(which is always going), "I'll start!" I know it seems funny, but that little glimmer of glitter on my sailboat ornament inspired me to "just start" with what was in front of me. You see, every ornament has a story, a special moment, reminders of Gods blessings along the way in my adventure called life. And yes, you will notice a reoccurring theme...something nautical or from the ocean. I digress, more of that as I progress in my "bloglife", but for now here are a few of my favorite things...
